HELIPORT IN THE CENTER OF KIEV

Shortly before the start of the European Football Championship, the Center for Administrative and Business Aviation opened in the center of Kiev, which also allows receiving Mi-8 helicopters. The main task of the center is to serve commercial charter flights of helicopters, as well as to meet arriving delegations. 

The use of such a center allows you to get to the center of the Ukrainian capital avoiding traffic jams. Also, during Euro 2012, the heliport will be used in the event of emergency assistance. The heliport was built in 2 years, construction began in October 2010. The dimensions of the heliport are 115 by 50 meters. On this area, there are sites for receiving 2 heavy helicopters weighing up to 13 tons.
