CITATION X+ TYPE CERTIFICATE GRANTED

Following Sovereign+, the Citation X+ received a certificate from the American aviation authorities (FAA). Also first Citation X+ was delivered to the customer and the first owner of the updated model. It was the head of an American construction corporation. In the near future, several more private jets will be delivered to the owners.

At the stage of project development, the working name of the model was Citation Ten, but due to marketing reasons, it was decided to leave the more familiar name Citation X and add the “+” symbol to it. Over the years of operation, Citation X became associated with speed and would have to spend additional funds on marketing Citation Ten as the successor to this quality.

During the tests, the aircraft flew 1300 hours, the tests also included checking the operation of the systems and maneuvering at a maximum speed of about 1100 km/h.
