Rome-Fiumicino International Airport (Aeroporto Internazionale di Roma–Fiumicino) named in horror of world-famous painter and inventor Leonardo da Vinci is located 30 kilometers to Rome city center. Airport was opened in 1961 and currently operates 4 runways. There are four passenger terminals in the airport and it is mostly oriented on service of scheduled flights.
