Private jet Legacy 450 was developed as new model and is not based on any previous model of Embraer. This approach made possible to develop a mid-size jet that has a more spacious cabin, longer flight range and newest equipment than competitors.

The first thing that you notice in passenger cabin is smooth floor. Cabin height is 1.83 meter so that it is possible to stroll along cabin during a flight. Passenger cabin is well developed and functional. Executive passenger seats are ergonomic and have a large variety of adjustments. Light system and climate system parameters can be adjusted from individual side consoles and also via special smartphone applications. Hi-Fi multimedia entertainment system makes possible to relax and listen to your favorite music or watch a movie during your flight. Passenger cabin design was developed together with BMW Group Designworks USA.

Embraer Legacy 450 passed certification in 2014, production and deliveries started in 2015. This private jet suits best for short and mid-range flights. Up to now around 100 Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 were produced and are in operation worldwide.

On Legacy 450 fly-by-wire system is used. Previously such systems were installed only on ultra-long range private jets, like Falcon 7X. Piloting is made not by steering column, but by side-sticks. Pilots claim that such type of piloting is more convenient. Fly-by-wire also makes possible to use more additional electronic systems and thus makes flights smoother.
