SOVEREIGN+ RECEIVED EASA CERTIFICATE

Textron Aviation announced that it has received a European type certificate for the Citation Sovereign+. The company expects the new version to be as successful as the previous one. The first orders for the private jet have already been announced, but the quantity, customers and delivery times have not yet been disclosed. The type certificate from the American aviation authorities (FAA) was obtained back in 2013. Price of the base version of Citation Sovereign+ is 18 million US dollars. In addition to the private jet, the Sovereign Shield program is offered and is essentially a warranty after-sales service program. The program is estimated to save up to US $ 900 per flight hour on maintenance and will be available to customers around the world through its extensive service network.
