LEARJET 85 - START OF FLIGHT TESTS APPROVED

Aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace has received FAO clearance to begin flight testing of its new all-composite Learjet 85 mid-range private jet. 

Such permission is granted after successful completion of ground tests - tests of engines, auxiliary power unit, airborne systems and test low speed runs along the runway. To perform the first flight, it remains to make the final adjustment of the aircraft and conduct high-speed runs along the runway.

Bombardier expects to begin deliveries of the Learjet 85 to the customers in Q3 2014. The cost of this private jet is US $ 20.75 million.
