GULFSTREAM P42 PROJECT CONFIRMED

Steve Kass, vice president of public affairs for Gulfstream, confirmed the existence of the P42 project, which has been rumored for over 4 years. He also commented that in the near future the company will be ready to announce this project. Perhaps it will happen in October in Orlando at the NBAA. At the same time, back in May of this year, Larry Flynn, President of Gulfstream, answered a direct question about the existence of the project very evasively. The change in public position clearly indicates progress on this project. 

The project is rumored to be planned as a response to the Falcion 5X and other competitors to the Gulfstream G450, which has been in service for 10 years. Perhaps this family will include the replacement of the G350 and G550.
