Recently Gulfstream Aerospace reported about the start of flight tests of its new flagship Gulfstream G700. Currently G700 can boast largest passenger cabin among private jets and longest flight range in the industry.
For the first flight G700 took off from Savanna airport and the flight lasted for 2 hours and 32 minutes. Totally five aircraft would be participating in test flights program and one aircraft would be used for structural test with critical stress.
Gulfstream G700 was introduced to public in October 2019 at professional National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition that takes place in Las Vegas.
Declared specifications of Gulfstream G700 private jet are above all current rivals and really impress: wingspan 31,39 meters and maximum cruise speed 1074 kilometers per hour. New Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines are installed on G700.
Passenger cabin can be made up of up to 5 zones, 20 panoramic oval-shaped windows make cabin feel even more spacious.
First deliveries are expected to be done in 2022. Base price of Gulfstream G700 is 75 million USD.
