According to private jet manufacturer Dassault, construction of the Falcon 8X is on schedule. At the moment, a prototype has been almost assembled - the wings, fuselage, engines have been docked, electrical circuits have been connected. The first show of the Falcon 8X to the general public is announced on December 17. The private jet is expected to make its first test flight in 3 weeks.
The Falcon 8X is the new flagship of the Falcon family, with 8 passengers capable of maximum flight range of over 10,000 km. The engines and wing shape are expected to improve fuel efficiency by up to 30% over similar aircraft. This will reduce operating costs.
Deliveries are expected to start by the end of 2016.
