Toronto Pearson International Airport is the main airport in Toronto and Ontario province. Airport is located in 27 kilometers to the city center. Toronto Pearson is also the busiest airport in Canada in terms of passenger traffic. Airport was opened in 1939 and at that time was mostly used for pilot training. Later operation of scheduled flights started and passenger terminals were built. Currently there are 6 runways in the airport with length from 2,956 to 3,389 meters. There is dedicated infrastructure for private jets that includes VIP terminal, apron and hangars. This makes possible to provide high quality and fast services for business aviation in Pearson airport.
Buttonville Municipal International Airport is the second airport in Toronto for private jets. It is located in 29 kilometers to city center. There are two asphalt runways which length is 821 and 1,188 meters. This puts some limitations on private jet model that can operate Buttonville airport and limitations on maximum take-off weight, which means that departure with maximum fuel load is not always possible. Also, there are noise limitations as airport is surrounded by bedroom districts.
