NEW CESSNA CITATION CJ3 GEN2

Textron Aviation has announced the latest addition to its legendary Cessna Citation lineup, the Citation CJ3 Gen2. Unveiled just before the NBAA-BACE business aviation conference and exhibition in Las Vegas, the Citation CJ3 Gen2 sets a new standard in the light business jet market as the most comprehensive Gen2 product announcement to date.

Visitors will have access to a mockup of the Citation CJ3 Gen2, which will debut at the company's static display at Henderson Executive Airport. The aircraft is currently in development and is expected to enter service in 2025.

The Citation CJ3 Gen2 was developed with input from Textron Aviation's Customer Advisory Council, comprised of owners, pilots, and mechanics who know what makes an aircraft memorable. This feedback played a crucial role in every detail enhancement of the aircraft, from the cabin to the cockpit.

Designed with the pilot in mind, the cockpit of the Cessna Citation CJ3 Gen2 boasts an increased legroom of 4.5 inches. The Garmin G3000 avionics feature thrust control automation and seamless connectivity to reduce workload and enhance situational awareness, including remote flight plan transmission, automatic database updates, wireless aircraft diagnostic data transmission, and an enhanced vision system (EVS) for improved clarity and situational awareness.

Passengers will appreciate the spacious and customizable cabin, where they can create the perfect environment with features such as swivel seats, RGB accent lighting, USB-C ports at every seat, wireless charging, executive tables, and ample storage space. The restroom features a CoolView skylight for natural lighting, an additional modern sink, and a vanity table. For added convenience, the restroom can be serviced externally.

The Citation CJ3 Gen2 will offer standard seating for nine passengers with the option to accommodate eight passengers with additional storage space. With a maximum range of 2,040 nautical miles and a maximum payload of 2,135 pounds, the Citation CJ3 Gen2 offers excellent range, payload, and superior takeoff and landing performance, enabling pilots to perform various missions in challenging conditions.
